Cary Fridley and Down South

A favorite of the local country two-step dancers, Cary Fridley and Down South play swinging honky tonk favorites inspired by classic country strong women with strong voices: Patsy Cline, Kitty Wells, and Wanda Jackon.  Cary fronts the band on her doghouse bass and sings her heart out accompanied by her seasoned band of traditional players, featuring Dave Perkins on guitar and Steve Trismen on violin along with Scott Sharpe on pedal steel and Stacey Glasgow on drums.  Wear your dancing shoes and come on out for a fun show full of heartache, spit fire, and country two steps as we pay homage to the queens of country music.
